Description

Visit to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre

Established in 1975, Semenggoh Wildlife Centre has played a vital role in the conservation efforts of the endangered Bornean orangutan species. Join park rangers on a journey through the sanctuary, where you’ll learn about the center’s crucial conservation work and get up close and personal, witnessing these gentle giants swinging gracefully through the canopy, feeding, or lounging in the dappled sunlight.

A visit to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre promises not only an unforgettable wildlife encounter but also a deeper understanding of the importance of conservation in preserving Borneo’s precious ecosystems. Whether you’re a nature lover, an adventure seeker, or simply curious about the wonders of the rainforest, Semenggoh offers a truly enchanting experience that will leave you inspired and awestruck.

There are only 2 feeding times a day: 9am-10am // 3pm-4pm.

Due to the semi-wild nature of the wildlife reserve, note that sighting of individual or group of orangutans is not always guaranteed during feeding times.
