    • What makes a hot dog “chicago style”? A Chicago-style hot dog, Chicago Dog, or Chicago Red Hot is an all-beef frankfurter, usually Vienna Beef, on a poppy seed bun. The hot dog is topped with yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices or wedges, pickled sport peppers and a dash of celery salt (celery salt is the key unmistakable flavor).

  • Museum of Science and Industry – the Western Hemisphere’s largest science museum. 
  • Lincoln Park Zoo and the Lincoln Park Conservatory 
  • Chicago Cultural Center – Constructed over 100 years ago as the Chicago Public Library and a Civil War memorial, it reflects the best of Chicago.
